Screen standard, ready made appliances for make-up FX, character work and casualty simulation.
These pieces are ideal as make-up artists' stock appliances for screen and theatrical use, for students learning application techniques and emergency medical technicians wishing to add realism to first aid and medical training situations.
Made from durable silicone, all the prosthetics are available in four realistic skin tones.
The FX appliances are single use and are cast in a super soft platinum silicone gel with a polyurethane cap plastic skin. This allows the edges to be blended into the skin with alcohol for a seamlessly naturalistic effect.
The casualty simulation range is manufactured from a firmer silicone with more durable edges which are not designed to be blended into the skin as intricately. These can be cleaned and reused multiple times and also featured are larger appliances which strap onto the body for rapid application. The casualty simulation range is perfect for injury training purposes and is also highly effective for film and television use, in battle scenarios for example.
Some appliances are available in both single use and reusable form.

Choice of Colours
All our ready made prosthetics come in a choice of 4 colours (please see previous PDF for visuals):
Pale Flesh, Medium Flesh, Warm Flesh and Dark Flesh
As the most commonly used make-up for colouring prosthetic pieces is the Skin Illustrator Palette range, we’ve chosen to use this as the guide for selecting the base colours for these products.
If you have one of these palettes please use it as an exact colour guide or refer to the colour samples below. Please be aware that colours vary on different computer screens and individual printers, so these colour swatch samples are provided as an approximate guide only.
An exact match to your subject’s skin isn’t necessary as the final tone matching is done with make-up colours after application of the appliance.
Single Use and Reusable Edges
Please see previous PDF for visuals.
Single use prosthetics are created with a tissue thin edge which can be blended into the skin. This is surrounded by material excess called flashing, which protects the fragile edge and is easily discarded when the prosthetic is in use. The benefit of this is a flawless blend into skin.
Reusable prosthetics are prepared using a firmer silicone with more durable edges. The benefit of this is an appliance that can be reused many times, making it a cost effective option when a seamless blend is not essential.

Ready Made Prosthetics
Easy to apply, professional grade appliances for make-up FX and casualty simulation. Ideal for screen and theatrical use including HD filming, and in injury training situations. Made in durable silicones, each prosthetic comes in a choice of four colours and many can be supplied as single-use or re-usable pieces.
Single use prosthetics are cast in a super soft platinum silicone gel with a polyurethane cap plastic skin, which allows the edges to be blended into the skin with alcohol.
Re-usable prosthetics are cast in a tougher, ‘10 shore A’ platinum silicone rubber and are not designed to be blended into the skin. Instead these tougher rubber appliances can be cleaned and re-used multiple times, and are perfect for on-screen battle simulation or for simulating injuries and trauma for training purposes.
